‘Weekend Update’ Mocks Trump’s X-Rated Rally Motion on Election Night

‘Weekend Update’ Mocks Trump’s X-Rated Rally Motion on Election Night

The last “Weekend update” segment before the 2024 election had a lot of new material to work with given the GOP candidate’s latest shocking incident Donald Trump during one of his meetings.

“Saturday Night Live” didn’t hesitate to spoof an hours-long controversy. Trump appeared to have simulated an oral sex move with his microphone when he experienced audio problems during his rally in Milwaukee. Weekend Update host Michael Che put it bluntly, noting that Trump appears to be growing more erratic as the end of the campaign approaches. A loss for Trump means he will face a series of legal battles that will be put on hold if he is elected.

“That’s why he’s blowing on that microphone. He’s trying to suck his way to freedom,” Che said.

“Weekend Update” host Colin Jost reported the other disturbing incident at Trump’s Oct. 27 rally at Madison Square Garden in New York. Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe made a racist joke that labeled Puerto Rico “a floating island of trash.” The comment sparked immediate outrage, especially among Latino voters, that Trump must seize power to win the ultra-close race.

Jost nodded to his roots on New York’s Staten Island to make his point.

“I take offense to that as someone who basically grew up on an island full of trash,” he joked.
