Joan Vassos is ‘Pro’ Mark of Charles will be the next golden bachelor

Joan Vassos is convinced that one of the men from her season of The Golden Bachelorette would make a great Golden Bachelor lead. Mark Anderson And Charles Ling have become frontrunners to take up the role after their respective Golden bachelorette eliminations.

“(I’m) for both,” Joan, 61, admitted We weekly at the Men tell everything to withdraw. However, she added that there are “at least five guys” who she thinks would be “really good” as leads Golden bachelor season 2.

“I think I can think of a lot more that I think would be really good,” she said. “And I think after people watch (Men tell everything) that they will see the same thing. That there’s a lot of personality, a lot of kindness and really open men who could navigate this journey as well as I could. Or maybe even better, because now they’ve done it once.”

One person who is off the table for the performance is Jonathan Ronwhich revealed during Men tell everything that he is already in a relationship. “I just wanted to give an update on this trip, that I met someone and the most important thing is that I am happy,” he said. However, he did not identify his mystery woman or reveal how serious things were.

In the meantime, Pascal Ibgui -WHO eliminated himself during fantasy suites week – said he would impose some conditions if he became the Golden Bachelor. For starters, the 70-year-old might want to lower the age range and admit, “Yes, I’m old, but I’m not dating a 72-year-old woman.” He also said he would like a “financial reward” for starring in the show, adding: “If I know what kind of commitment and what’s involved and if it fits into my schedule… yeah, why not? ”

Pascal ended things with Joan because he didn’t feel a “spark” in their relationship and knew he wasn’t in love with her. After his exit episode aired, he opened up about why he didn’t think so Golden bachelor franchise would ever work if it were to continue in its current form.

“I have said from the beginning: if you take a child from 25 to 30 years old who does not have a pot to pee in, does not own a car, has an intermediate job, rents an apartment, who is looking for an identity, it is easy to say, ‘Hey, I’m going to move to LA, I’m going to move to New Orleans, and we’re going to make a living together,'” Pascal said, hinting at why the franchise can also work for younger couples. “But if you just if I’m – established, I have a business, I have real estate, I have my friends, I have my routine, I have my health club, I have my connections – I’m not moving anywhere.”

He suggested limiting the contestants for each season to certain major cities, with Chicago – where he lives – as an example. “Chicago has a population of 13 million,” Pascal noted. “You’re telling me you can’t find 25 widows or divorcees in that age group? Because at my age I want to wake up with someone. I want to sleep with someone. I want to walk with someone. I don’t feel like getting on a plane every two weeks to visit someone.”

Since Joan lived in Maryland and Pascal lived in Illinois, this was probably a factor in why he knew things wouldn’t work. ABC has not yet confirmed any casting news for season 2 of The golden bachelor.
