Home alone

We enjoy watching this timeless Christmas film every year and are happy to share it with our children as soon as they are old enough. Believe it or not, Home Alone has been around for 33 years!

Snoepgoedlaan

Debuting in 2023, Candy Cane Lane is a family-friendly comedy that we’re eagerly awaiting. Eddie Murphy plays Chris Carver, who unknowingly makes a deal with a mischievous elf to secure victory in a home decorating competition, without realizing the unrest it will cause in his community.

The Muppet Christmas Carol

Released in 1992, it is perhaps the BEST film version of a Christmas Carol ever made, and suitable for all ages. This musical extravaganza features Kermit, Miss Piggy and Gonzo in the classic story of Scrooge and the 3 Ghosts and is one of our festive must-watches EVERY year.

Beauty and the Beast – Enchanted Christmas

If you have Disney+, this is a wonderful movie to play for the kids at Christmas (or get it on DVD if you don’t have it yet). It’s the sequel to the 1991 Disney film Beauty and the Beast, and it’s every bit as enchanting as the title suggests, and the perfect festive watch for little Disney fans.

The naughty nine

A brand new Christmas movie for 2023, The Naughty Nine tells the story of a young boy, Andy, who is furious at being on Santa’s naughty list. He teams up with eight other children who are also in Santa’s bad books to stage an intervention to change the big man’s mind. A great watch for the kids!
