Basic

The cheapest tier is Frndly TV Basic, which, as the name suggests, is the simplest of the three tiers.

Because you’re… well, Basic, you don’t get full access to the full suite of Frndly TV features. You can’t record or watch DVR footage, you can only watch on one device at a time, and any video you stream will be in SD or 720p resolution.

However, on Frndly TV Basic you do get access to the full list of Frndly TV channels despite the low fee, so if you don’t mind the limited feature set then this is all you need.

Classic

$9.99 per month

Number of channels: 50+ | Definition: 1080p | Simultaneous streams: 2 | DVR fee: 3 months

Switching to the Classic plan doesn’t increase the number of channels you get access to; this is the same for all subscriptions.

Instead, the main bonus is that video streaming is in 1080p, which is consistent with most TV sets in US households, to enhance the movie and show viewing experience.

In addition to that increase, you get the ability to stream on two devices at once via Frndly TV, instead of just one, and access to the Frndly TV DVR.

On Classic, you are allowed to record an unlimited number of videos, even videos played in the last two days, and watch them for up to three months.

Premium

$11.99 per month

Finally we come to the highest level of Frndly TV, Premium, which has the same number of channels as all the others, but some extra benefits. You can also stream in HD, such as Classic.

Perhaps the biggest benefit is the DVR fee, which goes up from three months of access time to nine months, giving you an eternity to watch any TV shows or movies you record.

You can also watch on four screens at once from your Frndly TV account, which can be useful if you have multiple TVs or devices in your home that people might be watching.
