Fatal stabbing near Embarcadero BART station

SAN FRANCISCO – At least one person was stabbed to death early Wednesday morning near the Embarcadero BART station.

The fire brigade reported the stabbing just before 6 a.m

Police temporarily shut down the BART station to search for the attacker.

Video from the scene shows police and paramedics outside the station and blood on the ground.

Police were also seen moving through the Embarcadero station.

No further details have been released.
