Suspects armed with a sledgehammer and weapons wanted for corner store robberies in Philly

Philadelphia police say three suspects are responsible for burglarizing and robbing two different convenience stores in just one morning.

Surveillance footage shows the trio using a sledgehammer to break into a store in the 2400 block of North 29th Street around 2:20 a.m. on Oct. 31.

The suspects pulled out pistols, stormed the store and cleared the cash register.

MORE SHORT LINES:

Police say they committed another robbery a few hours later at another store less than a block away.

All three suspects wore hoods, masks and gloves.
