Opinions sought on reducing air pollution in South Kesteven.

Opinions sought on reducing air pollution in South Kesteven.

Councilor Rhea Rayside, cabinet member for people and communities, said: “The action plan sets out the tasks and behaviors designed to reduce or reduce emissions in Grantham town centre, including improving traffic management at key junctions and encouraging people to walk and cycle.

“However, we also want it to reflect our ambition to reduce exposure to air pollution across South Kesteven and would encourage everyone from across the district to tell us what elements of air quality they think we should focus on.”

The council wanted to hear what steps people would be willing to take to improve air quality, such as car sharing, Rayside added.
