WYMT First Alert morning forecast, Saturday, November 16

WYMT First Alert morning forecast, Saturday, November 16

HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) – Clouds will linger for part of our Saturday, but the skies will remain calm. After a gloomy day on Friday, some clouds will linger for the first half of the day. Some drier air will move into our region during parts of the afternoon, which will help break up the clouds, giving much of southern and eastern Kentucky a glimpse of sunshine. Temperatures are slightly warmer in our forecast and are in the mid to upper 50s for our region. The wind remains light.

Sunday will start in the 40s, with a few areas dipping into the 30s overnight into Sunday morning. Clouds return to our area late in the weekend, but not nearly as cloudy as Friday’s skies. Temperatures on Sunday will feel even warmer as they climb into the 60s.

Next week will be busy, so take advantage of this weekend’s calm weather. Temperatures are expected to remain warm and in the 60s Monday, but some rain should fall late Monday. The chance of rain will remain for part of the week, but once a cold front moves through on Wednesday, we will have some flaky chances on Thursday and Friday.

Happy Saturday – Let’s Go Cats!
