Jamal Musiala provides update on Bayern Munich’s future

Jamal Musiala’s future at Bayern Munich has been a major topic of discussion in recent weeks. The 21-year-old is closing in on an extension beyond 2026 with the Rekordmeister, but fans can find out more about the player’s situation during the winter break.

I know a lot of eyes are on my situation, but I try to put as little pressure on myself as possible. It’s important for me to stay fit and perform until I have some time to calm down. Then I can take the time to think about everything. I think we will know more during the winter break.”

As reported on Thursday, Musiala is likely to sign a contract extension with Bayern Munichwhich could run until June 2030. A new deal would also see the German’s salary increase from a single-digit million to a figure comparable to that of Harry Kane, which is reportedly around €22 million, more than Joshua Kimmich.

Musiala scored five and created two in eight games as Vincent Kompany’s side sit top of the Bundesliga, five points ahead of RB Leipzig.
